Our Story
In The Beginning...
In March 2020, at the beginning of the pandemic, everyone, including myself, was kicked out of our normal workout routine and forced to find creative ways to maintain our health at home.
With just one treadmill, $500, and my parents' garage, I started selling pre-owned home gym fitness equipment. I was having fun simply filling a need, never with the intention of making this a business because who’d want to sell used equipment for the rest of their lives? It definitely didn’t feel cool and sexy like tech, but I couldn’t deny the fact that in-person sales were booming all over the region, and I was shipping equipment across the country.
I quickly became the #1 private seller of home fitness equipment in St. Louis.

Learning and Finding Our Identity
In 2022 we found a place of our own and began our first "official" year as a business to market. Having little prior experience in the fitness industry we began with our customers first, researching the industry, interviewing business leaders in the space, and watching the market.
In 2023, we then shifted our focus beyond pre-owned home exercise equipment to specializing in commercial pre-owned and new commercial gym equipment. In addition, we provided end-to-end fitness service solutions for high-end residential gyms and commercial gyms. We established ourselves in the local market and increased brand awareness. I continued to research the industry, the customers, the manufacturing process, and growth opportunities, traveling throughout the Midwest and East Coast to interview gym owners, manufacturers, and leaders in the fitness equipment industry as full time.

Then one day in 2021, I received a cease and desist letter from my parents' Home Owners Association (HOA). However, not one to be held back by the status quo, I was only propelled forward. Despite my hesitancy and resistance to making this into a "business," I redirected my energy into officializing my start-up business.
Rooted in the principles from the "Parable of the Talents" in Matthew 25:14-30 from which we are called to be faithful stewards of our time, talents, and Resources, Reimagine Resources was created. From day one our mission was to serve people with the resources that we have.

Restructuring & Growth
2024 and beyond has brought new and exciting changes. We discontinued our home and commercial pre-owned equipment to focus on commercial end-to-end service. Grew our portfolio of product offerings in gym equipment and facility resources and increased our service provider partnerships with some of the top brands in the industry. We work with universities and their students to provide internships. We are increasing our installation and service area across the US and continue to welcome new skilled Squad members to our company.

The Next Chapter
As I reflect on our humble beginnings in a garage to the growth we have today I'm immensely grateful for our incredible team and our clients who entrusted us with their fitness resources solutions.
We are excited for what the future holds as we continue to take pride in our craft and be innovators at the forefront of our industry.
What Reimagine Resources DOES has evolved and changed and will continue to do so but WHO ARE will remain the same.
